To further sustain its growth, Cenaero is currently looking for a (Graphical) User Interface Software Researcher (M/F), active in the design and development of innovative user interfaces.

The candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, enhancing and maintaining innovative (graphical) user interfaces of different software products of Cenaero. In this position, the candidate will work in close collaboration with scientific software researcher/developers, software architects and research engineers, translating their needs and requests into cutting-edge, user-friendly interfaces. The candidate must be aware of trends, technology and rules of good practice in the design of human-computer interaction. He/she will be part in the full software development cycle, from design and coding to testing and documentation.

• Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent, or Bachelor’s degree with professional experience
• Proficiency in object-oriented programming
• Experience with user interface design and GUI toolkits, especially Qt
• Experience with Model-View-Controller pattern
• Good graphic design skills
• Good analytical and communication skills (written and spoken)
• Fluent in French and in English
• Team player and proactive attitude
• Creative and good sense of aesthetics

• Cross-platform experience (Linux/Windows)
• Experience in web-based applications design and implementation (xHTML, CSS(3), JavaScript, AngularJS, ...)
• Good knowledge of data structures
• Experience in client-server architecture and/or Cloud environment
• Knowledge in cyber security
