Agoria is Belgium’s largest employers’ organization and trade association. This organization is representing and helping more than 1,600 companies in the technology industry.

The Agoria Infrastructure Club is a unique network that paves the way for business opportunities on the international transport, leisure and building market. The aim is to promote the members products and services abroad and to identify and create international business opportunities.

Centre Hainaut-Namur pour la Gestion de la Qualité – CQHN’ is a non-profit organization whose priorities are to promote, develop and implement Quality in all its forms and in all sectors and to coordinate any Quality-related action.

The association EWA (Entreprises Wallonnesde l’Aéronautique) brings together 60 Walloon companies in the aerospace sector (including AMOS, SABCA, SONACA, TECHSPACE AERO, THALES ...) active in the research,development and production of fuselage components, engines, electronic systems and software, as well as repair, maintenance and modernization of aircraft, helicopters and engines.

The non-profit organization ‘Club des Entreprises de l’Aéropole de Gosselies, Asbl’,in short ‘Go Club‘, brings together companies located on the Aéropole of Gosselies and develops projects to improve the experience of the individuals working on the park via the organization of appropriate services.

Heracles Centre participates actively in the creation and development of innovative companies in the region of Charleroi -Hainaut South since 1985.

The ‘Offshore Wind Infrastructure Application Lab’ (OWI-Lab) is a R&D initiative which aims to initiate and support innovation projects concerning offshore wind energy. The project itself aims to increase the reliability and efficiency of offshore wind farms by investing in testing and monitoring equipment that can help the industry in reaching these goals.


Belgian Section of the Combustion is an international non-profit, scientific and educational organization, founded in 1954, which serves the purpose to promote and disseminate combustion research. Fundamental and applied scientific disciplines contribute to this research which has strong ties to technical and industrial processes.

Within the Belgian Energy Research Alliance,the finest actors on the Belgian energy research scene have joined forces to provide lasting answers to these questions. The Alliance regroups organizations that employ among them about 1500  R&D-professionals.Together they form one of Europe’s most important groups in this field and are at the bleeding edge of scientific and technological progress. That is why BERA is also at the steering wheel of EERA, the European Energy Research alliance, where the same beliefs are espoused at the European level.

BioWin is the Health Cluster of Wallonia that brings together stakeholders invested in innovative projects and in the development of biotechnology and health.

CAP 2020 is a group of Walloon enterprises active in the building industry, regrouping Contractors, Architects, Producers and Suppliers of materials and services who have adopted the 2020 common European objective of massive energy consumption reduction.

Cluster TWEED (Walloon Technology Energy- Environment and Sustainable Development)is a Walloon organization involving more than a hundred companies active in the sector of sustainable energy. The Cluster aims to play a major role in business development in the areas of ‘sustainable energy’.

Eco-construction is a dynamic network bringing together various experts in the following materials: infrared thermography and electromagnetic pollution, ecological restoration, ecological materials (insulators,paints, coatings, ...) and bio-electrical,renewable energy, waste by lagooning,installing pools, treatment and recovery of rainwater.

Greenwal mission is to support renovation and construction and to make links between training, research and innovation.

GreenWin is Walloon cluster dedicated to the green economy and sustainable develop mentand supports innovation, promotes the development of collaborative projects of research and development.

The cluster Plastiwin has the main mission to strengthen economic, technological and commercial potential of his members. The cluster is approved and financially supported by the Government of the Walloon Region.

The aerospace cluster ‘Skywin Wallonia’ is a group of companies, training centers and research units engaged in public and private partnership approach for synergies around common projects of an innovative nature, and whose objective is the creation but also the maintenance of jobs in Walloon companies in the sector.

International Network

The main objectives of the Association are to develop and promote wind engineering, to act as a representative body of the Francophone community in wind engineering in Belgium,France and Switzerland in conjunction with the International Association of Wind Engineering (IAWE).

In order to help the construction industry reach the 20/20 targets and achieve energy neutral buildings and districts by 2050 the European Construction Technology Platform has set up the Energy Efficient Building European Initiative (E2B EI), steered by the Energy Efficient Buildings Association (E2BA)founded in November 2008.

EERA is an alliance of leading organizations in the field of energy research. EERA aims to strengthen, expand and optimize EU energy research capabilities through the sharing of world-class national facilities in Europe and the joint realization of pan-European research programmes (EERA Joint Programmes). The primary focus of EERA is to accelerate the development of energy technologies to the point where they can be embedded in industry-driven research. In order to achieve this goal, EERA streamlines and coordinates national and European energy R&D programmes.

ETN is a non-profit association bringing together the entire value chain of the gas turbine technology community in Europe.Through the co-operative efforts of our members, ETN facilitates gas turbine research and technology development,promoting environmentally friendly gas turbine technology with reliable and low cost operation.

EWEA is the voice of the wind industry,actively promoting wind power in Europe and worldwide. It has over 700 members from almost 60 countries, including wind turbine manufacturers with a leading share of the world wind power market, plus component suppliers, research institutes, national wind and renewables associations, developers,contractors, electricity providers, finance and insurance companies, and consultants. This combined strength makes EWEA the world’s largest and most powerful wind energy network.

NAFEMS is an independent not-for profit association focussing on the practical application of numerical engineering simulation techniques such the Finite Element Method for Structural Analysis, Computational Fluid Dynamics, and Multibody Simulation.

Teratec is the European center of expertise in high performance computing and simulation whose main mission is to contribute to the development of high performance computing and high performance numerical simulation, to participate in the development and implementation of joint R & D projects between partners.

The European Association of Development Agencies (EURADA) is a network of some 130regional development agencies operating throughout the European Union.

The Society for the Advancement of Material  and Process Engineering (SAMPE®), an international professional member society,provides information on new materials and processing technology either via technical forums, journal publications, or books in which professionals in this field can exchange ideas and air their views. As the only technical society encompassing all fields of endeavor in materials and processes, SAMPE provides a unique and valuable forum for scientists,engineers, and academicians.
